Covid Relief Fund
Vaishnavi Group has supported state and national COVID relief endeavours through funding contributions. A cheque of ₹ 25 lakh was handed over to the Chief Minister Mr. B. S. Yeddyurappa towards the CM Relief Fund while ₹ 25 lakh was donated to the PM Cares fund.
Vaccination Drive
At Vaishnavi Group, our primary concern has always been to provide a safe working environment for all our employees. We have successfully administered the vaccine to 1500 people including all our employees, their dependents, support staff and construction site workers. Each site was equipped with doctors, nurses, medical personnel and an ambulance to ensure seamless vaccination for all.
Akshaya Patra Foundation
When a national lockdown was declared on March 25, 2020, Vaishnavi Group joined hands with Akshaya Patra Foundation to distribute provisions for over 1000 daily wage workers at our sites, while making additional arrangements for 1,68,000 meals to be distributed across the city. Despite a shortage of staff at Akshaya Patra Foundation, many daily wage workers and Vaishnavi employees came together at Palace Grounds and assisted in packing food and provisions. The daily wage workers were paid extra for their generous support, thus helping them with another source of income during the troubled times.
Ashwath Narayan Foundation
As part of continued COVID care, Vaishnavi Group has also contributed towards Dr. Ashwath Narayan Foundation’s initiative of implementing modular and mobile ICU at K C General Hospital, Malleshwaram.
Our Support for Bengaluru Police
Vaishnavi Group, in association with Bengaluru police, provided 13 police stations in Bengaluru East with masks, gloves, PPE kits, sanitization equipment including disinfectant sprayers and disinfectants. We also distributed meals to police personnel at Cubbon Park, South End Circle, Ulsoor Gate and V. V. Puram police stations during the national lockdown.
Vaishnavi Group supports causes that range from empowerment of differently abled women, medical aid for the needy, education and aid to orphanages and government schools..
The Divine Light Trust for the Blind (DLTB)
The Divine Light Trust for the Blind is one of the oldest voluntary organizations in Karnataka established in the year 1958. Since its inception, they have been promoting special education and enhancing vocational skills especially among the children with disabilities to bring them into the mainstream. Since then they have touched the lives of over 6,500 children through this institution. Vaishnavi Group joins hands with this reputed charitable institution, providing education and training support for the children.
Prerana
A Non-Governmental Organization that supports over 120 differently-abled women aged between 12 and 50. By adopting Prerana, we have ensured that every single need of theirs, from meals and clothing to daily necessities and even vocational training, is met.
The Shakti Foundation
Founded by bereaved parents who had lost their only son to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, the foundation seeks to make the general public responsive to the needs of similar victims. Vaishnavi Group ensures that the aims of this noble foundation are met, by way of financial aid.
